Heated marquees for club nights
Busy weekend just gone (11/12 March ’16), providing three heated marquees, for two club nights, in two different cities! Firstly, a 20×30′ modular frame tent on hardstanding, with heating and red and white walls, for reggae legend, Dennis Bovell, at Pyschedelic Discoteque at the Old Abbey Inn in Manchester.
We added a 10×15′ pop up marquee for the entrance/ ticket booth tent, and to provide extra cover. The night was a great success, providing another example of how well we can help promoters turn a small venue into something much more interesting, versatile, adding capacity, comfort and colour to their event.
Then off to Hope Works in Sheffield for Pretty Pretty Good, an ace club night hosting Palm Tracks and O Flynn. Sell out event with over 450 people in through the night. Sound provided by the 20Hz soundsystem boys, always a pleasure to work with. We regularly work at Hope Works, helping turn their courtyard space into a fantastic club venue, useable year round, whatever the weather! This time we provided two modular frame marquees, a 20×40′ and 15×30′, both heated, along with electrics, camo net roofing, and either green and white covers, or deep red walls, to create festival style marquees, and add to the feel of the event. Great weekend, lots of happy punters and promoters, heating kept everyone toasty, and even lovely weather for the build and de rig. Happy days!
