All about Festival Marquees
Festival Marquees was started 10 years ago, and initially traded as Green Event Services. The founder, Matt Favier, has a background of working in the environmental, community and voluntary sector, but alongside this ran one of the North Wests best loved party sound systems, and spent a lot of time creating events from scratch in fields, forests and festivals.
From these underground beginnings, a love of building spaces for parties and events was born, along with a passion for interesting tents and interiors. We looked long and hard at the existing market for marquee hire, and were struck by the fact that 90% of the companies out there offer pretty much the same range of structures, furniture and accessories, so we set out to do something different: We love attractive, earthy, colourful and themed tents, and use a pretty unique range of structures, interiors, and furniture, most of which you won’t find elsewhere. At the same time, we offer a wide range of plain white tents for events looking for functional / standard structures. We have been VAT registered since 2023. VAT registration number: 435 2149 12

- We stock pretty much everything you might need for an event in house, and can offer a huge range of different styles and sizes of tents, as well as a wide selection of furniture and accessories.

- Our standard hire period is two or three days, a weekend basically. We don’t charge by the day like some companies.
- We work hard to ensure the safety and integrity of our marquees and equipment, following industry standards for anchorage, electrical and fire safety.
- Every marquee and interior photo on this website are of our tents, and our tents only, not catalogue, photoshopped or image bank photos
- We pay all our crew and workers at least the Living Wage
- We are strongly committed to keeping our environmental impact as low as possible, and are investigating carbon offsetting for our unavoidable energy use. We love to work with community and campaign groups.
